This lot contains: 5 tin figures dressed in costume from Scheveningen: Of the well-known tinsmith Joop Andriessen, meticulously hand-painted and very limited edition. 1-Woman, citizen costume, 10.5 cm, 300 grams (without box) 2- Woman, work costume with night hat, 10.5 cm, 350 grams 3- Child, girl 7.5 cm, 120 grams. (Please note: some paint missing from the ribbon to the hat at the back) 4- Fisherman's wife, daily costume, tippet, 10.5 cm, 385 grams 5- Fisherman's wife, Sunday costume, 10.5 cm, 300 grams. (without box) Tinsmith Joop Andriessen has cast and painted some 90 Dutch traditional costumes in tin. Each year he can make five new moulds at the most. He takes photos, designs sculptures and makes moulds from them. In this way he makes sure the traditional costume is preserved for future generations. All work is carried out manually. Look closely at the pictures, these are also a part of the description. Will be carefully packaged and sent by registered mail.
