Very nice and authentic 110 year old original Thonet chair. This beautiful old Thonet chair no. 57 is still in good condition, certainly considering its age. It has aged beautifully. Of course you can still sit on it, but it's actually an object to look at. Up to about 15 years ago we, the Bitter family, were the exclusive importer of al Thonet furniture throughout the Benelux. At that time, every Thonet was distributed to the end user via our enterprise Bitter Thonet Inc. We still possess a very broad collection, a fraction of which is offered here now. As this chair is packed completely manually and very well, we charge extra shipping costs. About 1.5 hours is spent on packing this chair.
