Magnificent and extremely rare vintage Movado men's watch. This is a dress watch wih a special gold capped case. The 34 mm case is a so-called UFO case, which owes its name to the special case that looks a bit like a UFO. The case is made by Francois Borgel, a highly acclaimed designer in the watch industry. The case is made of steel, covered with a layer of gold, better known as gold cap. Watch still has the original and very detailed crown and the convex glass. Dial has a magnificent even patina and gold Arabic and stick markers. There is also a gold minute track and the watch features wonderful gold sword hands and central seconds. The inside is just as beautiful as the outside. The cal. 431 is in very neat condition and runs well. This timepiece has a magnificently tooled rotor. The watch also has a screw back with all the correct marks. Serial number corresponds to the serial number between the lugs. Comes on a black leather strap.
