Moulded metal stand - The support of the handset and earphone, the column top, and the back of the earphone ar enickel-plated - The handset and the extra earpiece are made of bakelite. Protective felt under the device. The flexible cables of the handset and of the earphone are in good condition. The device has been roughly cleaned. This is one of the most emblematic French phones of all time. These models were manufactured from 1924 by various manufacturers. This one is manufactured by the Grammont company. It was used by the French PTT (State owned Post and Telecommunications company).
