Singular antique whip or so-called karwats. This is probably a military karwats that has been used in the navy or another army component. Such a karwats was used to knock clothes out, but of course it was also suitable for other purposes such as cattle driving or corporal punishment. Particular of this copy is that it is a copy of 1784. Wooden stem has a nice patina and still has 7 leather straps of the original 9 that have been on it.
