Extraordinary bronze museum figurine of "Gudea" Sumerian King of Lagash. This stylish figurine is made of real bronze. It is a replica of the original of the world-famous statue that can be admired at the Paris Louvre Museum. This Diorite statue of Gudea was dedicated to the God Ningishzida.
Gudea was a ruler of the state of Lagash in South Mesopotamia who ruled ca. 2144-2124 B C. He was married to Ninalla, the daughter of the ruler Ur-Baba (2164-2144 B C) Of Lagash, which gave him access to the royal house of Lagash.
