He is considered one of the greatest contemporary Italian sculptors, well known and appreciated also abroad. He is the brother of known sculptor Giò Pomodoro. This artist is famous above all for the particular bronze spheres, which are broken up, "broken" and open before the spectator, who is led to the research and the discovery of the internal mechanism, in a contrast between the perfect smoothness of the form and the hidden complexity of the interior.
