Original bilateral letter scale made of copper and enamel on a metal base - early 20th century. Made by Jakob Maul from Zell, Germany. The company was founded in 1912 in Hamburg. In 1913, Jakob Maul moved to Bad König-Zell where he started producing office supplies. It was not until 1930 that Jakob Maul would start producing letter scales. It weighs, divides over 2 dishes, top till 250 grams and bottom till 60 grams. The patent for this type of scales dates back to 1906. Marked by the manufacturer. It still works and everything is original. In used condition, with signs of old age and spots. The lot will be carefully packaged and shipped by registered mail.
