Kerguelen coat rack tube in PVC, from the 1970s. The cut-outs and openings increase the sculptural value of the object, creating various shapes depending on the position of the beholder. The coats are hung on the 9 protruding lobes (3 large + 6 small) located at the top of the tube. The umbrellas are entered in the large cavity to rest on the concrete bowl the tube sits on. The bowl provides stability to the tube and collects the rainwater from the umbrellas. Small objects (handbags, gloves, keys, newspapers) can be placed on the shelves located on the upper section of the tube.
