The Uten-silo ('Utensilo' is Italian for utensil, a tool) was designed in 1970 by Dorothee Becker, the wife of Ingo Maurer.
Material: ABS plastic and metal hooks.
The accessory holder is approx. 68 cm high and 52 cm wide.
Depth is 6 cm.
The plastic plates of which the Uten. Silo II is composed features multiple cavities in which many small items and goods can be placed. The Uten.silo II storage system has holes in the corners so that it can be attached to the wall.
The wall rack is marked on the bottom of the front:
"A product of Design M. Munich West-Germay – Copyright by Dorothee Maurer-Becker".
The plastic plate of this wall rack has a barely photographable tear of 4 cm in the top of the back, but is otherwise in unused condition: no scratches or discolourations.
