IHLE mini bumper car (Ihle Mini Skooter) 1950s-1960s. Built by the Gebrüder Rudolf & Fritz Ihle from Bruchsal (Germany) 1950s-1960s. De Gebrüder Ihle started building popular small cars in Bruchsal in 1930, among others the Dixie, BMW and DKW. After the war, they focused solely on making products for firms that offered rides at fairs, products like bumper cars and carousels. There was a lot of competition so the Gebrüder Ihle Bruchsal company no longer exists nowadays. Mounted on a steel chassis The body is made of fibreglass, reinforced with resin. The dimensions are: 1.21 cm x 61 cm x 61 cm Driven by a 12 volts electric motor. Powered by a 12 volts car battery which is installed below the seat. Entirely in original complete condition. 1st paintwork. Beautiful patina. To add extra safety, an elastic special-shock hollow rubber profile has been mounted around the entire vehicle. Thanks to its basic controls and manoeuvrability, this Ihle mini bumper car is always ready for use - even in a small space with a flat surface. De Ihle mini bumper car drives properly, the lighting works, the coin box is present but out of order. Recently, the timing built has been renewed. The seat has been renewed and reupholstered, the original seat is still available. Shows traces due of ageing and wear, see pictures.
