Richard Kiwerski was born in 1930 in Poland and died in Boulogne-Billancourt on 20 December 2015.
In the 1950s-1955s, he studied the history of art at the Catholic University of Lublin.
He co-founded and has been active in the group "ZAMEK" (Group of avant-garde expressing a strong revolt against Soc-realism in Poland). In the 1950s-1960s Zamek group has exhibited in several Polish galleries (Bialystok, Krakow, Lublin, Warsaw). In 1957 and 1958 an exhibition was held at "Krzywe KoƗo" (retrospective at the Musée national in 1990).
In the following years, the artist continued with illustrations and photomontages, as well as advertising plans for the Polish press and TV as well as creative posters for foreign films (FCF).
In the 1970s, he left Poland and moved to Paris.
In 1975, he won a gold medal for the posters exhibited at the Festival de Cannes in France.
Have exhibited several times in Paris and in the provinces. They are currently in the archives of the collections of the Centre Georges Pompidou, in the Library Forney and Arsenal, at the Cinémathèque in Paris, as well as in private collections or museums of Wilanów, Lodz and Poznan.
In the 2000s, he is the inventor of an artistic concept called PARA PAINTING, which illustrates the movement of the sun's rays.
Then he invented the ARTOGRAMS, paintings that you can read such anagrams from left to right and vice versa in perfect symmetry.
Living in Boulogne Billancourt, he participates in exhibitions organized by the city., and is also on the initiative of forty exhibitions and temporary installations in the streets of Paris
In 2017, his work is exhibited at the Saint Sulpice church in Paris as part of the event "Nuit Blanche 2017".
