Claire Norcross for Habitat – Ribbon table lamp
The Ribbon table lamp consists of a ribbon which transforms it into a very graphical origami, or a sculpture or even futuristic architecture. A prowess in terms of form and material since the lamp simply is a single silver-colour sheet of lacquered epoxy steel. Signed by Claire Norcross, who received the 'Elle décoration' prize in 2006. The lamp was folded in France, by the Toulouse company which gave life to two new versions, one in copper and the other in metal. A black and white version is manufactured by a sheet metal worker from the Lyon region (Poncin). The silver version is no longer available.
Sober and featuring a refined design, the lamp is curved for the shade, which continues in a single block and then adjusts to give place to the foot ending with a fold at right angle for the base.
Charm and finesse.
