The 2nd SS Panzer Division ‘Das Reich’ was a division of the Waffen SS and was established in October 1939, though its history dates back to 1934. The Division was deployed at multiple fronts in the war. Units fought, among others, in France, at the Battle of the Grebbeberg in The Netherlands, the Battle of Kursk on the Eastern Front, in Normandy 1944 and the Battle of the Bulge.
