Superb 18k fountain pen from the German company Montblanc dating from 1980. The largest and thickest model from the famous 149 line. This black celluloid version with 23K gold plated detailing is rare. Part of the pen is in ebonite. No serial number since it was made before 1990 but “GERMANY” is engraved on the cabochon ring. 100% genuine and authentic Notice that the body and the nib section can be unscrewed and cleaned. Solid 18 carat gold bicoloured nib in medium writing size. Clear window allows verification of ink level. Refills only with inkwell using the piston at the back of the pen. Length when cap screwed shut= 14.70 cm The pen has some traces of use given its age and a small crack under the nib (see photo 7) but nothing serious or that prevents the pen from working well or the cap from closing.
